NHS membership of the University of Manchester Library

The University of Manchester Library, in cooperation with the NW NHS Health Care Libraries Unit, provides a membership scheme open to all NHS employees within the North West. 

The NHS membership scheme is available free of charge to any member of the North West NHS workforce on production of their NHS identification card.  A membership card is given for 2 years.

You will be able to borrow up to 4 books at any one time and use the study space.  Due to licensing restrictions, most of the Library's electronic resources are only available to current staff and students. External users can access some electronic resources (including e-journals). Please ask a member of staff at the Customer Services Desk for further details.
