The library at Pinewood House has a selection of 'Self-Health' resources which hospital staff can borrow to use with patients or for their own well-being. This collection is a snapshot of what is available from Stockport public libraries. We strive to raise awareness around the hospital of Stockport's public library service, which - among other things - is an excellent source of high-quality, reliable health information. We recently bid for some external money which has funded an advert on the Hospedia TV screens at patient bedsides. The advert is running now and should remind patients about their local library and encourage them to use the service, especially for finding health information.
